Empanadas are pastry filled appetizers using beef, chicken, spinach, ham and cheese, or spicy Chorizo sausage meat.


Matambre is a rolled and filled beef loaf, for lunch or dinner, served with "Rusa" a light, tasty potato salad.


Provoleta is a small hot frying pan of melted Provolne cheese, great for dipping cruchy hot bread rolls.


Chimichurri sauce also goes well with the hot bread - made of Italian parsley, garlic, oil and spices.


Caprice salad has a soft Mozarella cheese sliced with tomatoes and leaves of basil.





Argentineans love sandwiches. Cold ,"Miga" , are small, on crustless bread, with ham and cheese or "surtidos", with some pineapple and roasted red peppers. Usually prepared as six or 12 sandwiches wrapped together.



Hot, sliced and grilled beef
on Fugasa bread, which is an oval bun, is called "Lomito", and with a fried egg - "cordobes". It is toastedlightly in the oven and served warm.


Milanesa is a thin beef, breaded and deep fried, often served as a sandwich.


"Cordobesa" adds ham and eggs to your order


Choripan is a spicy sausage, cut and served as a sandwich on fugasa bread.




Argentina is known for its juicy and tender beef.

Steaks are grilled, then oven-baked. Entrana is a skirt steak with a layer of skin, when well-cooked it is crunchy. You might want to order "no-skin".

Tango Baires serves "Specialties" - Parrillada is the platter of grilled meats, for two people. It includes steak, ribs, Argentine sausage, chicken, sweetbreads (thymus gland), blood sausage if you wish, grilled with vegetables - onionis and assorted sweet bell peppers.

A strong Italian influence is found in Argentinean food. The Pastas can be ordered with one of four toppings

The "Pesto" or Pasta Verde is a spinach, cheese, garlic and basil sauce that is "amazing"

A variety of side orders are available. Most dinners include a choice of potatoes - mashed, fries, rusa (potato salad), or mixta (green) salad.





Argentinean pizza uses a pastry- like crust , that when ordered "well-done" or crunchy, is light and flaky, unlike North American dough crusts.



Many toppings are offered. We show fifteen (15) on the nmenu, but you are welcome to add to , or change toppings to suit you.




Also extra toppings can be added to the basic pizzas





There is a variety of desserts - flan, crepes "panqueques", a caramel filled cake roll "Arrollado de Dulche de leche", and small sweets - masas finas.





There are several coffees to complete your meal







We have a good selection of imported Argentinean wines, and Peruvian and Argentinean beer.
